Товары или услуги, которые данное государство приобретает или реализует на мировых рынках. Подразделяются на три категории: товары (commodities ), включающие в себя промышленные изделия, сельскохозяйственную продукцию и другие материальные предметы; услуги (services ), в том числе транспортно-экспедиционное обслуживание, страхование и пр.; кредиты (credits ), такие, как займы и прочие операции, предусматривающие отчисление и получение процента. Товарные сделки причисляют к видимым (visible ) статьям торговли, а сделки по услугам и кредитам - к невидимым (invisible ).
